The core technology behind Dagcoin is one of the most integral components of the Dagcoin ecosystem. Being the main developer of Dagcoin and DAG-chain gives the freedom to create and update additional products/features in a fast manner. We have the possibility to develop custom solutions that benefit our community the most.

The technology behind Dagcoin is something that puts us ahead of others – the speed and low costs of transactions, and scalability to smaller or larger communities make us the perfect solution for solving the current financial issues in many parts of the world.

There are already a few companies who have copied our chain and started their own cryptocurrency. It is important to understand that proper technology is just one part of building up the most usable cryptocurrency ever. The concept and approach play a very big role as well.

CURRENT STATUS

Nevertheless, there is much room for improvement in technology as well. The team that’s working on the core technology, is developing a major upgrade which we hope to release in the second half of 2020. The purpose of the upgrade is to increase the reliability and capability of the DAG-chain, advance the identity management layer, add transparency and further compliance layers.
